In our interactions with other people, whether at home or at work, with employers, customers or colleagues, we often feel pressured into accepting situations, or taking on tasks that we should not accept. Lack of assertiveness can lead to abuse of our good nature, lowering our self-esteem, and leaving us feeling resentful.

On the other hand, communicating assertively can help us to express ourselves in a clear, direct and appropriate way, without undermining our own or others’ rights.

This practical course will help you understand and handle the different ways in which people communicate. You will learn to use assertiveness as a powerful tool to build confidence in your ability to handle others and feel better about yourself.
