Maria regularly assists local and international clients including leading credit institutions on corporate finance matters, including lending transactions. She also frequently assists local and foreign entities on general corporate and commercial projects, including M&A transactions and liquidations.
Recent experience includes:
- Assisted a group of international lenders in a syndicated financing transaction in connection with the provision of funds required to fund the acquisition of a large telecommunications operatory holding infrastructure for the provision of telecommunication operations; and
- Assisted a leading Maltese telecommunications company in a financing transaction and negotiated Maltese law governed security documents for the entity and its subsidiaries.
