Mark Zammit

Prior to admission to the Law Course at the University of Malta, Mark’s studies were centred on computing & business at the university’s ICT Faculty, particularly on software development.

When deciding to pursue the Law Course, Mark’s focus was drawn to IT Law subjects, utilising information architecture principles to address legal issues posed by innovative technologies. During such time, Mark began his traineeship practice with a local law firm specialising in IT Law, garnering DLT and cryptocurrency experience at the height of the industry’s peak in 2017 – 2019.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), and for some time after obtaining his Master of Advocacy, Mark continued his practice with such firm, with continued exposure on IT law matters, such as data protection.

Mark then furthered his studies in TMT law, obtaining a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Information technology Law with the University of Edinburgh.

Before joining Fenech & Fenech Advocates as an associate, Mark practiced with another local law firm, advising clients and the firm on commercial, privacy and data protection law matters.
