Veronica-Anne Spiteri

Veronica-Anne graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Diploma in Legal Procurator from the University of Malta in 2015. The following year, in 2016, she graduated with a Diploma Notary Public. She completed her Doctor of Laws degree in 2018 from the University of Malta, having her doctoral thesis entitled, “The European Investigation Order: the pinnacle tool to fighting cross-border crime?”. She was called to the bar of the Republic of Malta in March 2019.

It was at a very young age that Veronica-Anne grew a passion for the legal profession. Her passion, wit and character are her signature when it comes to serving her clients and defending their rights and interests. Although relatively young in age, she has already successfully won many Criminal Law cases in Malta relating to drug trafficking, grevious bodily harm, domestic violence, and various other crimes and contraventions amongst others.

Although specialising in criminal law, Veronica-Anne has a wide-ranging knowledge on alternative subjects, having previously given lectures in both Social Security, as well as Company liquidations. She also assists various clients with regard to various family law disputes, separations, divorces and child custody issues amongst others. Veronica-Anne also assists various clients on debt collection, as well as civil law disputes.

She  is a member of the Chamber of Advocates Malta, as well as a member of the European Criminal Bar Association, and also a member of the European Fraud and Compliance Lawyers. In 2023 she was appointed by Leaders-in-Law as the Criminal Law Expert in Malta. Veronica-Anne is the Founder, Main Advocate & Sole Proprietor at VS Legal.
