Nicolai is a Senior Manager in the tax and legal practice of a local firm. He joined the firm in 2009 after completing a Bachelor with Honours in Management degree at the University of Malta. He has also completed the ACCA and the Diploma in Taxation offered by the Malta Institute of Taxation. Following these he also completed the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation offered by the Chartered Institute of Taxation in the UK.
Over the past years, he has assisted in providing advice to a wide portfolio of local and international clients across a wide variety of industries especially in the aviation and shipping industry.
He has in particular been involved in various tax compliance and tax advisory work for corporate clients as well as has provided various assistance in relation to Social Security.
Nicolai also participates in various in-house seminars and lectures and regularly contributes to local and global publications.
