Even though many of us may not have seen it, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought attention to another pandemic that has been here for much longer: people who struggle with mental wellbeing and the effects this has on their relationships and their employment.

A lot of people have probably encountered mental health concerns for the first time. More and more people are realising that mental health is a serious issue that has to be handled correctly and professionally.

All of this has a big impact on the workplace. In most cases this has ended up, or will end up, being left in the hands of those working in human resources.

There are many warning signals which may point to a problem if you as management observe them over time. In accordance with best practices, management must act appropriately when presented with these red flags.

During this 3-hour webinar, Gestalt Psychotherapist Mel McElhatton will highlight the signals to look out for and how to go about them. Effective assistance in the early phases can aid in preventing long-term issues for both the employee and the organisation. Such situations must be handled delicately, otherwise wrong intervention may make the situation worse.

The webinar will also provide an opportunity to understand the advantages of improving mental wellness at work. Irrespective of the benefits it may bring to the company… it is the right thing to do.

Who should attend?

Managers and Human Resource Professionals.
