Currently works as a specialist in Family Practice in the private sector. He graduated as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (M.D) from the University of Malta in 2005 following which he successfully completed the two-year mandatory house officer rotation for University of Malta graduates. Dr Deguara also completed a Masters in Family Practice at University of Malta.
